About Our Founder
Eddie Marrero has been working professionally as an Actor, Director, and Producer for more than a decade appearing in numerous theater, film, and television productions. Among his many credits are: Law and Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Third Watch, Saturday Night Live (NBC), One Life To Live (ABC) Miracle's Boys (MTV Networks), and 100 Centre Street (A&E) from Academy Award Winner, Sidney Lumet. In 2005 he became the first Latino to Co-host The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS) and in 2006 his performance in the feature film Find Me Guilty opposite Vin Deisel and Annabella Sciorra garnered him notable attention from industry insiders and Hollywood studios. He is presently working on the pilot production of Lipstick Jungle a new spin-off show of Sex and the City for NBC. He has worked with many of Hollywood’s biggest names including Academy Award Winner Alan Arkin, Danny Glover, Spike Lee, James Naughton, Matt Dillon, among others and in 2006 received a best actor nomination for the prestigious International Latin Ace Award for his stage performance in Marido Encadenado/ Chained Dog, (Repertorio Español).
He has starred in several original Off-Broadway productions including the smash hit La Lupe: My Life, My Destiny (Puerto Rican Traveling Theater). He has worked in theater since the age of 12 and is passionate about developing new original works and giving artists a vehicle to find their voice on and off the stage. "I have been blessed with many opportunities throughout my career. Establishing Three Lions Stage and providing professional opportunities for artists of color using a non-traditional casting methodologies is one of the most thrilling opportunities of my artistry that I believe will be an impetus that will change the face of the American Theater landscape.”
He has been a concert producer for Grammy Award winning artists The Sounds of Blackness, Dionne Warwick, and the live international telecast of the 1998 Good Will Games and Closing Celebration for Time Warner on TBS. Training: The Juilliard School, Voice and Piano & NYU School of Film, TV, and Broadcasting. He is a proud member of AEA, SAG and AFTRA.
